It's been a long weekend... first cold and rainy (missing those 90 degree temps)... But, having a warm up now!
I'm participating in Camp NaNoWriMo (for the very first time... yikes!) and again the writing goal is 50k words.... It's summertime, and I don't know if I'll make it because my days are as filled as my nights. Kids are all home, pulling in a millions different directions...I kinda feel like a gumby, lol.
So, lets get right down to it, it's time for the Monday Morning Flash Fiction Challenge!
This week's image is one that I found on facebook... and I have to say in my personal opinion... It's freaking gorgeous!! Here... have a peek for yourselves!
The single lonely tear leaving a silvery trail as it slips down her pale flesh, the slight brush of color across her cheeks, the steely blue of her eyes, the fullness of her berry colored lips, the slight bite on the lower lip (see the break in the skin on her lower lip? she's been chewing it, nibbling on it, anxious). What's going on in her head? What's causing her to cry? Is she a new bride? Has she lost her groom, or maybe he left her for some reason at the alter? Is she something else altogether? Such an awesome image!!
