Hi EH!

It was a very long day, and Kirsten came home and passed out.

I passed out too, but the car had to be unloaded and it just seemed like the clean up is never ending.

Hi Amy!

They did have fun, it's all she can talk about.

It was crazy, wild, and fun.

Hi Michelle!

I know Kirsten had a great time and she's talking about volunteering next year. Now she wants to be a counselor there. lol

Hi Lea!

She loved it, can't wait for next year. I had no idea of what I was sending her to, she was asked to go by her high school. They even paid for her to go, how could I say no, not that I would have. But my baby was gone from home and I was worried of course. We ended up taking her and her friends to TGI Friday on the way home, and that almost cost as much as attending HOBY. lol

Hi Barbara!

She had a great time and keeps doing the HOBY cheers - it's too funny. She is a cheerleader of course, so she was right at home. I wonder if I'll ever not be exhausted again though...lol

Hi Fantasy Dreamer!

Everyone was excited and wanted all the parents to be equally excited. Can you just imagine all these middle age folks jumping and cheering with the kids - priceless!

Love the pictures and the video! Very cool that she got to do this!

Hi Alyce!

Thanks for stopping by!

This was such a great weekend for her and for us when we went to pick her up. She said they cheered, jumped around a lot, made gifts for the children's hospital, and wrote thank you notes to all the businesses that support HOBY, as well as motivational speakers (who were hilarious) and business leaders spoke. She can't quit talking about it and how she's volunteering next year. You only get to be an Ambassador once, but they depend on those kids to come back again and again. But this time, she'll have to raise the money to go herself.

For the parents, it was really an experience. Cheering and jumping around too (which my hubs did), just like the kids. It was fun, but exhausting!

Dottie :)
