That preview does have a have a shine of awesome to it. I barely remember the original, it came out when I was like 11 or 12, I think. But I do remember Jeff Bridges from it. I will need to watch the original again before the new comes out next year. Thanks for the preview!

I was squeeing here just to see the trailer, too cool. Tron is up there with my all time favorites. Not really an oldie, but old enough and so sweet, first show that introduced what the future of computers could be.
I'm so dying to see the new Alice, I couldn't believe the cast. Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter to only name a few. Coolness!

I thought Tron was so cool when I first saw it! The computer use and animation were so new.
Now, all movies have cg, we'd wonder what was wrong if it didn't.
I bought it on DVD when the 25th anniversary edition was released a few years ago. I watch it with my kids who shockingly thought it was cool too.
The new edition looks freaking awesome, can't wait to see it! Can't believe I have to wait for so long though.

Dottie! OMG! That is too cool. A new Tron movie and that WAS Jeff Bridges, right? In the trailer? Oh, I think that's a movie my son would love!
Like Donna, I barely remember the original movie but Jeff Bridges always stands out in my head from it.
And the Alice in Wonderland, I am so wathcing that one!

Tron is a Disney movie from the 80's about a game designer who creates a mega-selling video game. Unfortunately, a co-worker steals his work, becoming the most powerful person in the company. He quickly dispatches his competition, regulating him to an owner of a game arcade. Sadly, the evil co-worker can't control 'his' creation, and the MCP (master control program) starts infiltrating other computers and their programs. Soon, the MCP is trying to control everything. And it's up to our hero to save the day.
Way cool for the 80's, some of the first CG. Fantasy at it's finest! The special effects were great for the time period. If I could, I would send you a copy of my movie, but sadly probably won't play in your region. (If it will, let me know, I'd mail you a copy, it is great!!) Check your local library to see if they can locate a copy for you. Definitely watch worthy!

OMG!! I can't believe they're making a new Tron film. Yes, that is Jeff Bridges, I never thought he would reprise his role in this movie. I haven't heard anything about this until I stumbled upon the new trailer. Devon will freaking love this movie!! Heck, I freaking lovin' the trailer. Too bad I have to wait for over a YEAR to watch it.
Now, I have heard the Johnny Depp was going to be in the new Tim Burton 'Alice in Wonderland'. This is a pretty sweet trailer too. Johnny Depp looks great as the Mad Hatter.
Much squealing was going on at my house, kids and dog that I was nuts.

HAHA! You said the dog and kids thought you were nuts! My dog would likely have started running circles and then doing his baying barky noises beagles are known for. So that's what image popped in my head taking place at your house with the squealing.
That is really neat they are making a new movie!! I would definitley like to see that one at the theater!
