Truth be told...what is labor day?

The truth is Labor Day started in Canada... So we have those wily Canucks to thank for a day off! Yay!
What it means in America: It signals the end of summer, celebrates the labor of the people to keep the country strong and vital..honors their labors..(yeah.. we kinda suck at this right now..), used to have parades and such, and it used to signal that it was time to put the whites away...it was improper to wear white after Labor Day...so unfashionable... lol.
There you go...Labor Day is a sentence or two, lol!
